Kopje Creek Cabin: Spring in the High Country

Wild flowers: Dozens of small early spring wild flowers have appeared at our 8,500 ft elevation cabin. Pasqueflowers, buttercups, forget-me-nots, bistorts, daisy fleabanes, phlox, barrel cactus and many others, despite the fact that we still have snow drifts in the creek bottom over 10 ft deep!

Homemade lasagna sunset dinner, but still deep snow in the creek bottom…..

Game Camera: Winter visitors captured in the game camera include a few moose, coyotes and a couple obcats on the prowl.

A beautiful coyote, a young bull moose and a rare bobcat pic!   Lovely early spring days at our Colorado mountain cabin!
